This 8-day program through Peru offers a complete experience combining history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes. It begins in Lima, exploring its main historical and modern attractions. The itinerary includes an excursion to the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuamán and the Sacred Valley, where travelers discover picturesque towns, agricultural terraces, and Inca fortresses. The highlight is a visit to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, with train transfer and a guided tour of the Lost City of the Incas. Breakfast. In the morning, we will stroll through the main streets, squares, and avenues of the city. We will start with a panoramic view of the Miraflores district. We will begin at the “Parque del Amor” (Love Park), where we will see the famous sculpture “The Kiss” by Peruvian artist Víctor Delfín. Then, we will observe the impressive Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center of the Lima culture. We will continue to the Plaza de Armas, where we will find the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace. We will visit the Cathedral and walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, whose corridors were walked by San Martín de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima in the 17th century and where their remains currently lie. Transfer to the airport for our departure to Cusco. Upon arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will tour the beautiful city of Cusco, Capital of the Inca Empire. We will start by visiting the San Cristobal viewpoint, from where we will have a privileged view of the city. Then, we will visit the San Pedro Market, where we will discover local customs as well as the products consumed in the area. Next, we will visit the Koricancha temple, an emblematic place of the city, and admire its imposing Inca constructions. We will continue our tour visiting the famous San Blas neighborhood, walking through its streets that mix Inca and Colonial culture. We will end our tour visiting the Cusco Cathedral to immerse ourselves in its stories and appreciate colonial works of incredible value. Accommodation in Cusco.

Breakfast. In the morning, we will get away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuamán, an impressive citadel full of colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in total harmony with the environment. Then, we continue to the Inca shrine of Q’enqo, where the altar for sacrifices embedded inside its rocky formation will surprise us. Finally, we arrive at the Puca Pucará watchtower and Tambomachay, a monument of notable architectural excellence considered one of the pillars of the Andean worldview. Free afternoon to enjoy the city or do additional activities. The entrance passport included in this trip gives you access to other points of interest not visited. Accommodation in Cusco.

DAY 05 - CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY (Excursion to Sacred Valley with lunch)

Breakfast. Today we will visit the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will depart to the town of Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque of the Sacred Valley. This town is famous for its women weavers. Brief stop at a textile center to appreciate the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. We will visit its Inca square with its beautiful colonial church. We will continue to Moray, a beautiful Inca archaeological site composed of concentric agricultural terraces that served as a laboratory to recreate microclimates. Lunch. We will continue to visit the last living town of the Incas, Ollantaytambo. We will visit the Temple of the Ten Niches, the Ñusta baths, and the Temple of the Sun. The views from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Accommodation in the Sacred Valley.

Breakfast. We will depart by train to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrive at Aguas Calientes station, where our staff will assist us to board the transport that will ascend through an intricate road, giving us a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that shapes the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, stairways, ceremonial enclosures, and urban areas. Energy emanates from the entire place. After a guided visit, we will have lunch at one of the local restaurants. Return by train. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco.
