This 8-day journey through Peru is designed to combine history, culture, and nature in an unforgettable experience. It begins in Lima, where you’ll discover the colonial and modern richness of the Peruvian capital, visiting its squares, churches, and archaeological sites.

Next, you’ll fly to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, to explore its historic streets, traditional markets, and iconic temples such as Koricancha. From there, you’ll venture into the Sacred Valley, surrounded by stunning landscapes and picturesque towns like Chinchero and Ollantaytambo, where you’ll learn about ancestral textile techniques and admire unique archaeological complexes.

The highlight of the trip will be Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of its terraces, temples, and ceremonial spaces, immersed in a unique energy and breathtaking views.

Breakfast. In the morning, we will tour the main streets, squares, and avenues of the city. We start with a panoramic view of the Miraflores district. We begin at the “Parque del Amor” (Love Park), where we will see the famous sculpture “El Beso” by Peruvian artist Víctor Delfín. Then, we will observe the impressive Huaca Pucllana, a ceremonial center of the Lima culture. We continue to the Plaza de Armas, where we find the Government Palace and the Municipal Palace. We will visit the Cathedral and walk to the Convent of Santo Domingo, whose halls were walked by San Martín de Porres and Santa Rosa de Lima in the 17th century and where their remains currently lie. Free afternoon. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 03 – LIMA – CUSCO (City Tour)

At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco. Arrival, reception, and transfer to the hotel. Free morning to acclimatize. In the afternoon, we will tour the beautiful city of Cusco, Capital of the Inca Empire. We start by visiting the San Cristóbal viewpoint for a privileged view of the city. Then, we visit the San Pedro Market to discover local customs and products consumed in the area. Next, we visit the Koricancha temple, an emblematic site of the city, and admire its imposing Inca constructions. We continue to the famous San Blas neighborhood, walking through its streets that mix Inca and Colonial culture. We finish our tour visiting the Cusco Cathedral to learn its stories and appreciate colonial works of incredible value. Overnight in Cusco.

DAY 04 – CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY (Excursion)

Breakfast. We will visit the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We start towards Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque town in the Sacred Valley. This town is also famous for its women weavers; we will stop at a textile center to appreciate their beautiful fabrics and learn ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning alpaca wool. In Chinchero, we will visit its Inca archaeological complex and its beautiful colonial church, enjoying the impressive natural landscapes surrounding the town. We continue to Moray, a beautiful and curious Inca archaeological complex composed of colossal concentric terraces simulating a large amphitheater. In Inca times, it served as an agricultural laboratory where various microclimates were recreated. Lunch at a local restaurant. We finish our tour visiting the fabulous Ollantaytambo archaeological complex, important to the Incas as a military, religious, and agricultural center. We will visit the Temple of the Ten Windows, the Ñusta baths, the Temple of the Sun, among other sites of interest. The views from the heights of Ollantaytambo will close this magical day in the Sacred Valley. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

DAY 05 – SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES (Excursion to Machu Picchu with lunch)

Breakfast. We will take the train to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We arrive at Aguas Calientes station, where our staff will assist us to board the transport that will ascend through a winding road, offering a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that shapes the famous canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will welcome us with its incredible terraces, stairways, ceremonial enclosures, and urban areas. Energy emanates from the entire place. After a guided visit, we will have lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 06 – AGUAS CALIENTES – CUSCO

Breakfast. Free morning. At the coordinated time, we return by train and transfer from Ollantaytambo station to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Early in the morning, we start our journey along the Southern Valley towards Phulawasipata, the starting point of our adventure to the Red Hill or Rainbow Mountain, located about 100 km southeast of Cusco. After breakfast, we begin our hike to the access control point of this mystical place. As we continue walking, we will observe how the colors around us change with the weather. We will reach an approximate altitude of 5,000 meters above sea level, the summit of the mysterious mountain. Its geological formations will reveal all their splendor in contrast with the blue sky, forming a formidable barrier between the coastal desert and the Amazon jungle dominated by the beautiful Ausangate snow-capped peak. We will enjoy lunch at a country restaurant and then return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.
